Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!

What a whirlwind year 2011 was.  There were many good things that happened, but there was more than enough stress to go around, sad times, and trying times.

I'll try to touch some highlights of each month (I didn't write much in the past year, so much of this will come from memory).

January: I don't remember anything from January.  Edited:  I learned to start IVs.

February:  I passed LPN boards.

March:  On March 13 we had to put our beloved Jessi to sleep.  It's so weird still that she's not here.   It's my first new year in about 14 years that she hasn't been here.  Just before I started this post I finally changed my profile picture to Cookie.  I better quit before I start crying.

April:  We moved back to O-town.  Closer to school, out of Helltown.

May:   I started Depo shots.  Just now finally getting everything back in order.  That shot made the summer and fall ROUGH.

June:  I think I planted the garden then.

July:   My sister's spouse beat her up.  It broke my heart.  I've never wanted to hurt someone more in my life; I'm NOT a violent person, but seeing the pictures of what he did to her made me snap.

August:  I started my preceptorship.  Loved it.

September:  Hubby and  I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.  Some days it seems like just yesterday we got married, other days it seems like we've been married 100 years.  I LOVE that man, he completes me.  I'm not sure what I've done to deserve such a wonderful man, but I hope I keep doing it.

October:  I don't remember.

November:  I officially finished all of my nursing classes, but found out I have to redo microbiology and an arts/philosophy elective before I can take RN boards.  I really love my photography class.

December:  Had me taking lots of pictures and helping hubby at his job (since I don't have a job yet and my classes don't take up much time it gives me something to do and I get to spend time with him, a double bonus :)

In this coming year of 2012 I've set a goal to lose 80 pounds, be a better person and wife, pass my RN boards, find a good place to live, find a job, and stop procrastinating so dang much.  I'm very determined to accomplish ALL of these goals and am ready to take them on head first.  I suppose I could blog more often too :)
